There are at least 3 polar bears visible in this shot.

And at least one polar bear junkie.

You might even be surprised to learn that there actually aren’t any PBs in White Bear Lake.

Just don’t let that ruin your WBL/PB experience/shopping spree.

This sign combines two northland favorites: the Minnesota state motto “L’etoile du Nord” and, what else, the polar bear.

Sometimes the polar bear is just implied. Like in the lower right-hand corner of the logo at Goodthings, located in the heart of downtown White Bear Lake.

Even the body shops in WBL stand in solidarity with the polar bear.

The citizens of White Bear Lake, MN might the only people who take polar bears as seriously as we do. They even put ‘em on the street signs.

We’re back and reporting from White Bear Lake, the polar bear capital of the world. Or at least Minnesota.

Seriously, there are more polar bears here than the arctic circle. And we’re going to find and post every last one of them.
